Seabrook

Summer vacation, there's nothing like it. I needed those few short days with my family. We had soooooooo much fun at Seabrook. It's a great community on the coast. We even had great weather, it was downright hot today. That doesn't happen often on the WA coast! I had a great time, friendly competition Top Chef style, fun in the sun sand and waves with the grandchildren, even flying kites. It doesn't get better than this :)

Summer 2010

I have no excuse, I just haven't blogged in a long time. I am deep into getting ready to go to Kenya with Teacup and Compassion. I found out that I can get all my travel vaccinations through Safeway Pharmacy. How convenient! I thought I would have to go downtown but it turns out I don't.
We've been taking some of our antique trucks to parades and car shows this summer. The 66 Ford that we restored as a tribute truck to Brian is up and running and has already won a first place trophy for its category. I think there will be a short video of me with the truck on Highlinetimes.com I was interviewed by their roving reporter at the Sizzling August Nights in Burien yesterday 8/7/10. I still get choked up when I talk about Brian and Mark but my tears are normal and nobody seems to mind. I miss my guys.

Our 4 days at the ocean is coming up fast. We're going to Seabrook, I can hardly wait. There's nothing like letting the kids loose at the beach. No fuss, just fun. Hope your summer is going great, enjoy it while you can.
